Safety 101

Wear a helmet when possible.
Sober riding is safe riding. Riding under the influence is against the law.
Want to ride with friends? Never double up when riding a standing scooter or one-seated vehicle. To ride with friends, use Group Ride.Dual-passenger riding is only permitted in cities that offer the two-seated Apollo.
training mode is available as a first-time rider which limits the speed of vehicles to 8mph. In certain cities, training mode is enabled until a rider has completed their first few trips.
Safety First:
Always follow traffic rules, lights, and signs, and respect the pedestrian right of way.
Take the bike lane whenever possible – it is the safest place to ride. If there’s no bike lane, ride with the flow of traffic and never on sidewalks.
18 and over is the age requirement when riding with Veo. Underage riding is prohibited.
Rules of the Road:


Always end your ride uprightand follow your city or university’s parking style.
Never park your ride blocking pedestrian walkways, sidewalks, access ramps, doors, bus stops, or traffic.
